In short: very little. Bitki Tabanı shows no ads, does not track you across sites and sells no data.
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see how many people read which page. It sets no cookies, does not identify you and does not track you across sites; it keeps only aggregate numbers (for example how often a page was viewed and which country visitors came from).
The plants you mark as learned, your streak and your riddle guesses stay only in your own browser’s storage (localStorage). Nothing reaches us. If you clear your browser data, they are gone.
Google sends us an identity token on your behalf. From it we keep only your Google account ID (a random-looking number). Your email address, name and profile photo are not stored.
With that ID we store the plants you marked as learned, the days of your streak and your riddle guesses. A cookie valid for 180 days, used only for this, remembers your session.
Data is kept on Cloudflare’s servers. Google’s own privacy policy applies to Google sign-in.
The “Delete my account data” button on the Account page deletes all stored progress immediately. You can also remove Bitki Tabanı’s access from your Google account at any time.
Under Türkiye’s Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK, No. 6698) you have the right to ask about, correct and delete your data. The delete button lets you exercise that right in one click.
