When are herbs gathered in Ağrı?

In the Diyadin and Doğubayazıt areas of Ağrı, medicinal herbs start to be gathered in April and May, when they sprout. According to informants, most herbs lose their strength in August when they go to seed, so gathering ends in late July. Herbs are not gathered on rainy, very sunny or windy days.
