A healing hearth still at work: Otu Kesme

In Akçapınar village in Turgutlu, Manisa, the “Otu Kesme Ocağı” (Otu Kesme healing hearth) still works today. In 2020 researchers observed the hearth and interviewed the healer and patients: people go there mostly for skin diseases, and patients come from nearby villages and districts. According to the healer, the condition for recovery is following the method given.
