As the potato dries, the wound dries
At the devre hearth in Denizli, for a wound, a potato brought by the patient is cut into three slices, strung on a thread and hung in the house; as the potato dries, the wound is believed to dry too. At the çıbık hearth in Konya, a grapevine shoot is made into a ring, and a child with red eyes and nose is passed through the ring.
