Can a brick give oil?

Brick oil: in a village in Sakarya, for rheumatic pain, two dry bricks are pounded into powder, roasted in a pan with pure olive oil, and water is added. The oil that rises to the surface is collected with a spoon and kept in a bottle. In the record, the product has that name too: brick oil.
