Why did Lokman Hekim leave this city?

Ribes rhubarb

A legend told in Muş: a lokman hekim (healer) saw gulik (çiriş otu, foxtail lily) on sale everywhere in the market, thought “These people will fall ill often” and left the city. The saying still lives in the region: “The people of Muş fall ill from gulik and get well from ışkın.” Işkın is ışgın (Rheum ribes), gathered in the mountains in spring.
