Herbs for joint and muscle pain
Most herbs used for joint pain contain substances thought to reduce inflammation. Their evidence is generally limited, and some can interact with medicines.
In short
Willow bark extract has shown a moderate effect in low back pain. Turmeric and rose hip looked promising in small knee osteoarthritis studies. Nettle leaf is accepted for traditional use in joint pain.

Several studies with rose hip powder report less pain in knee osteoarthritis.
