Ingredients

  • 1 handful of fresh or 1 dessertspoon of dried lemon balm leaves
  • 1 cup of just-boiled water

Method

  1. Put the leaves in a cup or teapot.
  2. Pour the water over them and cover.
  3. Steep for 10 minutes.
  4. Strain and drink.

Lemon balm’s essential oil escapes easily; steeping it covered keeps the scent.
